It is a disgusting racket of money making, self protective rules and regulations.
I rented a "cabin" what a rip-off. The place from the inside wasn't even as big as a single room motel and was pretty filthy. You couldn't even see past the grime of the windows. the rooms (not cabins) were so small and dark. They told me on the phone, when I made the non-refundable reservations, that there was Wi-Fi in the cabins. that was a lie. There were bugs under the sheets.
I put one star, because a negative 5 was not an option.
The government has become a business. With freedom comes responsibility. hey have taken the responsibility and restricted the freedom.
Once you pay the $100 a night for the run down shack of a place, you have to pay for your daily entrance into the park and then if you want to go swimming in the pool it was like $8.00 more per day. You get there and walk the trails (which are really great) when your done walking the trails you get to see a fairly clear watered creek with a sandy/pebbly shore that tempts you to cool off and go dip in the water (like people have done all throughout time) and there are canoers and kayakers that are having fun in the water, but IF you do, you will be ticketed and removed from the park.
With the taxes they collected from the subjects of Indiana, the state acquired the most beautiful natural landscapes of Indiana. Then they charge even more money for the subjects to enjoy it and restrict the uses of the lands. "The land of the greed and the home of the slave;)"
